Join Oxfordshire DA at Aston & Cote Village Hall for our final scheduled meet of 2027.
Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Aston combines a peaceful village setting with an impressive range of attractions nearby.
From historic Cotswold towns and villages to wildlife attractions, country pubs, Blenheim Palace and Christmas shopping, there's plenty to fill a late-November weekend.

☕ Aston Pottery – approx. 1 mile
A very local attraction offering pottery, gifts, gardens and a popular café.
🏘️ Bampton – approx. 3 miles
A beautiful historic village internationally recognised as one of the principal filming locations used for Downton Abbey.
🐊 Crocodiles of the World – approx. 6 miles
The UK's specialist crocodile zoo, with crocodiles, alligators, caimans and other reptiles.
🦏 Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens – approx. 8 miles
One of Oxfordshire's major visitor attractions, with a wide variety of animals set amongst landscaped parkland and gardens.
🍺 The Farmer's Dog – approx. 8–10 miles
Jeremy Clarkson's country pub in the Burford area and a popular destination for followers of Clarkson's Farm.

One of the best-known Cotswold towns, with its historic High Street, traditional buildings, independent shops, cafés and pubs.

Another possible day trip for Clarkson's Farm fans, although Nuholme is the much closer of our 2027 sites.

A possible excursion for members wanting to combine the weekend with some Christmas shopping.
